We are Strong and Beautiful
Strong and Beautiful is an intentional focus to encourage, educate and empower women to walk in their purpose. It is not about our physical strength or our external beauty.
Yes, those things are important, but the lens of strength is bigger and more in-depth than any one of us can imagine.
It is the power to embrace our individuality in the midst of pressures to just fit the mold, whatever that is. It is the beauty of our physical and emotional scars that are unique and identifiable as the fingerprint on each finger.
Our strength is being able to move about in the space of life and ask for what we need and want.
Each one of us is fearfully and wonderfully made by our awesome Creator. God created only one of you. For that simple fact, you are beautiful.
Our beauty is multidimensional and prismatic.
You have great potential and purpose. We need your gifts and talents to make our world complete and for your communities to be complete. I hope that you take the time to acknowledge your strength and beauty, because I honor and recognize that you are, we are…Strong and Beautiful and move about in the freedom of being Unbothered.

Lies are Dangerous!
The Danger of Dishonesty It seems that our world is more accepting of dishonesty. People are comfortable with telling lies and never stop to evaluate the danger of their dishonesty. Who is the person, community, or organization that will be adversely impacted because the truth was trampled. When I was growing up, my parents and […]

The Beauty of Reflection How many times do you look in the mirror during the day? I am guessing at least five times. This excludes when you are driving. I’m talking about the times you’re looking in the mirror to check yourself out, to see how you are looking. Is your hair on point? Do […]

Think about it…my statement is powerful and true! When we take the time to intentionally pause and think, reflect, and slow down… It can release the power of creativity, purpose and unbotheredness. In the pause we can plan and be deliberate in our execution of our plans, dreams, purpose and how we expend our energy. […]

Shine on There is darkness all around us. The darkness of despair, war, poverty, and injustice, just to name a few. It is very easy to sit and be a spectator of the woes and worries of the world. However, I have a challenge for each one of you, and yes, I am including […]

Strong and Sad The latest round of senseless gun violence has shaken most of us to our core. The repetitive loss of life in such horrific and tragic ways shatters our sense of safety and breaks our hearts. Even though we may not know the victims in Buffalo, Uvalde, or Laguna Woods, we still bear […]

It’s Spring Time It’s that time of year, spring! We are familiar with the beautiful sights and sounds that let us know that winter is moving on and it is time to trade the winter blues for vibrant spring greens, pinks, yellow and oranges. I have always loved Spring. It feels like a fresh breath […]

Read MoreThe Power of Expectation
I want you to think about something. What do you do when you are expecting something? If you are like most people, when something is on the way…you are looking for it, preparing for it, and possibly cleaning up to make room for it. There is a motion to expectation. What are you waiting […]

It is happening again! A new year is approaching, 2022. I can’t believe it. I was talking to a few friends the other day about how fast this year flew by us…zoom, bye bye 2021. Here we are still in a global pandemic, and I know that we are weary. However, we must still live […]
