We are Strong and Beautiful
Strong and Beautiful is an intentional focus to encourage, educate and empower women to walk in their purpose. It is not about our physical strength or our external beauty.
Yes, those things are important, but the lens of strength is bigger and more in-depth than any one of us can imagine.
It is the power to embrace our individuality in the midst of pressures to just fit the mold, whatever that is. It is the beauty of our physical and emotional scars that are unique and identifiable as the fingerprint on each finger.
Our strength is being able to move about in the space of life and ask for what we need and want.
Each one of us is fearfully and wonderfully made by our awesome Creator. God created only one of you. For that simple fact, you are beautiful.
Our beauty is multidimensional and prismatic.
You have great potential and purpose. We need your gifts and talents to make our world complete and for your communities to be complete. I hope that you take the time to acknowledge your strength and beauty, because I honor and recognize that you are, we are…Strong and Beautiful and move about in the freedom of being Unbothered.

Goodbye 2025…Hello 2026
I can’t believe it! It’s time to say goodbye to 2025. This year seemed to have rolled by as if it was on roller skates, not taking a moment to stop, but rather picking up speed, wow, it is almost gone. Honestly, I like this time of year to slow down and be reflective. Too […]

Here she comes, hair immaculate, shoulders erect, rhythmic stride, and cape securely fastened to her back. Here she comes hair messed up, shoulders slumped, slowly walking and cape securely fastened to her back. These are two very different images, I’m sure that we have been both. Ok, you don’t want to admit it, I will […]

Ms. Spider You won’t believe this, but I went glamping. Yes, I did! It was something that I’ve wanted to experience for a while because I am definitely not a real camper, no bugs and snakes for me. But glamping, yep I can get with that. During this glamping excursion I had the opportunity to […]
Read MoreRefresh! Rain on Me
Our area has gotten very little rain. Everything is crunchy and brittle. Green space isn’t so green, but rather patches of green in the midst of brown parched grasses and dirt. There were even fire hazard warnings issued. This can sometimes be the description of our lives. Seasons of dryness, that produce nothing vibrant. The […]
Read MoreLove is…
We are inundated with hearts and roses and candy, all in an effort to demonstrate and convince someone that we love them. I was shocked how quickly the shelves were emptied. I went to the grocery store the day before and thought, this is a lot of stuff. Honestly, I laughed a little, because I […]
