It is happening again! A new year is approaching, 2022. I can’t believe it. I was talking to a few friends the other day about how fast this year flew by us…zoom, bye bye 2021.
Here we are still in a global pandemic, and I know that we are weary. However, we must still live our lives and celebrate this new year with vigor and hopeful expectations. We can still strive for greatness, set goals, and work our butts off to achieve them. I know that the daily grind seems to be a bit tougher, and the energy level is sometimes only a zap of energy, but don’t give up!
We need you to survive. The collective we, the universe…ok if that is too big to conceptualize, how about your family, your co- workers, your community and YOU. You need you. Our purpose is never about our elevation or expedition, but the others that will reap the benefits of our gifts, talents, compassion, humor, innovation, and all those other great things that we embody. Our purpose is the reason our survival is important
As I reflect on 2021, there were moments that made me smile and jump with joy, seriously I was jumping. There were moments that I cried and thought, this is tough. As well as moments of concern that left me feeling conflicted and helpless. Guess what, I made it…you made it…we made it!
We are on the brink of a new dawning of 2022. Although, we seem to be in the grips again of COVID-19 with the new variant. I am holding on to the light of hope to shine light into the crevices of dark uncertainty. We will find a way to be resilient, collaborative and walk in the harmony of our life’s work. There will be days of fear, lack, optimism, joyful expressions, temptations of letting go…in every moment, stand on the foundation of faith and the testimony of perseverance. We have lessons that we’ve learned firsthand and those that we have heard rang from the mouth of our ancestral beacons. Together, we can make 2022, a year of promise, progress, and potential. The promise of our purpose, the progress of personal development and the potential for excellence.
