Spring is Here

It’s Spring Time

It’s that time of year, spring! We are familiar with the beautiful sights and sounds that let us know that winter is moving on and it is time to trade the winter blues for vibrant spring greens, pinks, yellow and oranges. I have always loved Spring. It feels like a fresh breath of exuberance and energy.

During spring we see the new births, in the form of blossoms, greenery on our trees, oh yeah and the sneezing and pollen. Ok, I know…but despite that, it is an exciting time.

Let’s take the energy of spring and reconnect with the dreams inside of us. The beauty of blossoms call out to us to slow down and be present and even recognize the  beauty that we take for granted.  Stop for a moment and notice the animals that are being born and transformed. The other day, I didn’t have a choice, I had to slow down in a parking lot as a duck and her ducklings, waddled across the parking lot. They took their time, not rushing, looking around and concentrating on where they were going. There was one duckling, that didn’t follow the others. Momma Duck had to make sure it got back in line. It eventually picked up the cadence and quickly got back in line. I sat and watched and realized that I was smiling, just because they were so cute. I didn’t get huffy and puffy and all bothered, nope I sat in the moment and enjoyed it. It also made me think, maybe there is someone in my circle that I need to give a little nudge and encouragement to focus and get back in line.

Hey, let’s harness the energy of rebirth that springs brings with it.  Stop and recalibrate the cadence of our interactions, self-care and goals. I am keenly aware of the hurt and destruction happening in our world, the war  in Ukraine, the impact of COVID-19, death of our loved ones and friends. However, we are still on this earth and have the gift of life. In this moment, it is important to see the beauty in that spring is presenting to us. Let’s accept this gift with gratitude and intentionality.

Hey, let’s harness the energy of rebirth,  stop and recalibrate the cadence of our interactions, self-care and goals. Spring is in the air…hello spring, welcome, I missed you.
