I can’t believe it! It’s time to say goodbye to 2025. This year seemed to have rolled by as if it was on roller skates, not taking a moment to stop, but rather picking up speed, wow, it is almost gone.
Honestly, I like this time of year to slow down and be reflective. Too many times we keep up the pace that life sets for us and we just roll with it. But, here today in this moment of edgedom (Yep, made up that word, ha ha). Edgedom, the place where we stand with one foot in 2025 and the other one raised to step into 2026. Standing in this moment, think about the times of laughter, crying, what in the world confusion, sadness, anger, victories, loss, and the things that happened to us that haven’t been given a name yet because it is still unraveling. We are here! Through our faith, family, friends, resilience, stillness, bold moves, collaboration and moments that someone really saw us, we made it.
Let’s not forget the lessons of 2025 that are meant to elevate us for the work that we have been assigned in 2026. In the duality of pain and exuberance we wait for favor to catapult us into the purposeful assignments of 2026. Sisters, we don’t know what 2026 will bring with it, but let’s find comfort and excitement in what we know.
